Ciarán Hinds joins Pierce Brosnan in Salvation Boulevard
Ciarán will star along with Pierce Brosnan, Ed Harris, Greg Kinnear and Jennifer Connelly in indie comedy thriller Salvation Boulevard based on Larry Beinhart’s novel.
George Ratliff is going to direct from the screenplay he wrote with Douglas Stone.
The story takes place in the world of mega churches where “a former Deadhead-turned-born again-Christian finds himself on the run from fundamentalist members of his mega-church who will do anything to protect their larger-than-life pastor.”
The film is about to start shooting in Detroit (Michigan). “Production work is under way at the Allen Park Studio Center on a feature film starring Pierce Brosnan, ” city officials said.
“Allen Park is proud to confirm that Salvation Boulevard has set up production offices at the Southfield Road location,” Mayor Gary Burtka said. “They have been on site for about a month and a half.”
Salvation Boulevard is being produced by Mandalay Independent Pictures.
